Helen is an artist, predominantly working with steel, fabricating abstract forms that play with her obsession with the notion of balance and connection.

She has also spent over 20 years working in education managing and developing multiple specialist workshops and studios, teaching others how to make stuff, and helping to facilitate the realisation of ideas.

This blog is a culmination of works both complete and in progress, projects – domestic and professional, and a repository for thoughts, ideas and discoveries as they come along.

An honest journey through the art world from the point of view of an overtly and sometimes frustratingly practical mind.
